PepsiCo has invested US$27.1m in its new 43,500msq distribution centre located in Villa Nueva, in the south-west of the country. General Manager for PepsiCo Alimentos, North Central America, Clara Contreras, said that the investment positions the company in a key location for East-West connectivity, enabling efficient response to market demands. This takes PepsiCo’s investments in its Guatemalan operations since 2019, to US$70m. These have seen facility modernisation and digital innovation in sales processes.
