On behalf of our President, Lord Bruce, I am delighted to invite you to The Caribbean Council’s Christmas Drinks Reception 2026, which will take place on Wednesday 9th of December at 5pm at Cottons in Notting Hill Gate. 

Cottons Notting Hill is a lively Caribbean restaurant and rum bar on Notting Hill Gate, with a “Carnival all year” atmosphere. Cottons is home to one of the world’s largest collections of commercially available rum and where authentic Caribbean food, world-famous rum, tropical cocktails and island hospitality come together in one of West London’s most iconic neighbourhoods.

The Reception will be a lovely festive occasion for all of our members to see each other. We will be inviting all of the Caribbean High Commissioners, the Central American Ambassadors and UK Overseas Territories representatives, so it will also be a marvellous opportunity to reconnect with senior government representatives from across the region.    

A festive Christmas rum cocktail will be served alongside wines, beer, soft drinks, and canapés in this fabulous relaxed Caribbean venue. We’re thrilled to welcome you this year to an exclusive venue, with more time than ever to enjoy the evening, from 5pm until 11pm. 

We will be holding our Annual General Meeting immediately before the reception at 4:30pm and a notice about this will be sent out separately.
