Largely undeveloped, Tobago offers many opportunities to develop new projects – whether in the tourism space where there is demand for new hotel room capacity, new resorts and new tourism attractions; in agriculture where there is an appetite to move into agroprocessing or agrotech to improve production; or in other areas such as digitisation and creative industries. Free access to tertiary education over decades has meant that the island has an extraordinary level of skilled professionals.

Chaired by Rt Hon Lord Bruce of Bennachie, this Seminar will offer an opportunity to hear directly about business and investment opportunities in Tobago, part of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago. With a rich cultural heritage and some of the best beaches in the Caribbean, Trinidad and Tobago stands as one of the wealthiest countries in the region. Tobago has won a slew of global awards for the high quality of its hotels, natural environment and travel products including Caribbean Leading Hotel 2020, UNESCO biosphere designation, Caribbean Nature Park of the Year; and World Travel Market Silver Award.  

Leading investors and executives from the public and private sector will be present to share their experiences and advice on doing business in Tobago, and there will be networking over refreshments after the panel session to meet the panellists and fellow guests.
