We also produce research and reports on a range of themes, and provide expert commentary and analysis on the region to leading news media organisations. Syndicated and widely read in the Caribbean press, the columns provide a European perspective on Caribbean tourism and development issues.

Membership

The Caribbean Council coordinates the activity of three membership organisations, each targeted at providing companies with the support, business intelligence and contacts they need to develop positive business relationships in specific geographic regions:

Members benefit from an unrivalled programme of activities and events, including invitations to private high level meetings with visiting Ministers and leading private sector figures from the region. All members receive our weekly Research Publications and receive an invitation to our Annual Reception at the House of Lords. Members also have access to additional business intelligence, in-depth advice and practical support on doing business with the private and public sector across the region.

Participation is open to all levels of business, from large corporations with established operations in the region, to smaller SMEs that are looking to export their business or services for the first time.

Events

We have a successful track record of organising international conferences, trade delegation programmes, seminars, roundtable events and workshops throughout the Caribbean, Central America, London and Europe.

Throughout the year, we organise a programme of events for our membership bringing them into contact with political, diplomatic and industry leaders from the region; and regularly host events in conjunction with governments, donor agencies and the private sector.

We also offer bespoke event support packages ranging from offering advice on the substance of the agenda, through to recruiting potential speakers and securing the right audience.
