On Thursday, 20 February the Cuba Initiative was delighted to welcome a delegation from the MInistry of Foreign trade and foreign investment in Cuba. The delegation was formed of three ministry officials: Vivian Cid,Director General of Foreign Trade; Maria Isabel Pozo Hernandez, Director of Imports MINCEX – directing import policies and exchange in Cuba and relations with the rest of the world.  Specialist on technical regulations on imports. Laura Maria Gil Gonzalez, Specialist, Imports Department,  MINCEX – focusing on collaboration projects, trade services and electronic commerce. The objective of the visit was to talk about public procurement, and external financing as well as giving members a chance to talk about new business opportunities in Cuba.
