The Caribbean Council is currently organizing an event that will be held on January 20 in collaboration with British Expertise to provide more detailed information about the £300million UK Caribbean Infrastructure Fund announced by the Prime Minister during his visit to Jamaica in September.
DFID Minister Baroness Verma and Caribbean Development Bank President, Dr Warren Smith (TBC), together with senior officials from DFID and FCO, will provide attendees with the latest information about the main objectives of the fund, the types of projects which will be eligible and the procedures by which funds will be allocated. The event will be chaired by the President of the Caribbean Council, Lord Foulkes.
