Advisory
Services on International trade negotiations and regulatory
issues
The Caribbean Council provides timely targeted intelligence,
reporting and advice on developments affecting the interest
of those with whom it works. This service is tailored to
the requirements of its private and public sector clients.
It provides a comprehensive range of services that enable
governments and industries to monitor and effectively make
their case in European capitals. The Caribbean Council also
works closely with regional trade negotiators to achieve
this objective. It has undertaken studies for a number of
major companies in the Caribbean and Europe on regulatory
issues that affect their commercial interests. |

and investment development and promotion services
The
Caribbean Council provides a trade and investment promotion
and advisory service for Caribbean and European governments,
businesses, the public sector and to private sector organisations.
This service may include the:

and implementation of investment and trade
promotion strategies in the UK and Caribbean Council
- Identification
of potential investors and business partners
- Coordination
and organisation of investment and trade promotion activities
such as outward and inward missions, seminars, conferences,
national pavilions

Caribbean Council has a successful track record of organising
throughout the Caribbean and Europe international conferences,
seminars and workshops on its own behalf and in conjunction
with Governments, donor agencies and the private sector.
Uniquely it can offer a complete service ranging from
the very practical organisational aspects of putting together
an event to offering advice on the substance of the agenda,
potential speakers and a targeted audience. |

in Capacity Building and Assisting Economic Development
The
Caribbean Council has worked with a number of major industries,
associations and intermediaries in the Caribbean to build
their capacity. It has achieved this by the development
of public/private partnerships, by facilitating their
access to funding facilities in Europe, and through information
programmes to assists strategic decision-making. |
